michael prince for boston magazine
For an article in the December 2019 issue about the congestion on Boston’s city streets and the difficulties of navigating public transportation, Boston Magazine turned to Michael Prince. To create a frenetic look equal to that of many Bostonians daily commute, Michael made multiple exposures in a few key locations around the city.
“The article is about the hideous congestion clogging the roads, subways, etc. I am very grateful that they let me get a little freaky with the pics. Each one is made up of as many as a dozen exposures,” Michael wrote in an Instagram post sharing the photograph of the Charles/MGH Station on the Red Line.
Michael provided the magazine with a total of five photographs from South Station, Boston’s busiest transit hub, overlooking Valenti Square, and the traffic on Zakim Bridge.
